On the Home Page you can see:

  • Your profile picture; you can open the Profile Settings by clicking on them.
  • Name and Last Name
  • Personal Status
  • Skills Level
  • Skills Points
  • WOD History: you can see the list of workouts completed in chronological order;
  • Skills History: : you can see the list of skills completed in chronological order.

No one can see your feed, except for you.

You can access to your Profile Settings  by clicking on the profile picture and by clicking on Edit Profile in the Settings section.

Here you can see and edit:

  • Your profile picture;
  • Your Personal Status
  • Name and Last Name
  • Email
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Weight

Moreover, there is a section where you can visit the Instagram and Facebook page of WodNow.

WOD is the acronym for  Workout Of the Day and you can find them in the WOD List section.

The WOD section is divided in

  • WOD LIST
  • MY WOD
  • FAVOURITES
  • RANDOM

The Wod List is a section where you can see all the workouts.

  • At the top there is a search bar, where you can search for a Wod by name.
  • At the bottom on the right there is a button to open the Advanced Search.

The Advanced Search is a thorough search where you can filter a Wod by :

                      – Timer Type: FOR TIME, AM RAP, EMOM, TABATA.

                      – Exercises

                      – Equipments

                      – Categories ( MEN, WOMEN, SUPERMEN,  SUPERWOMEN, CLASSIC)

By Selecting one or more items, you can see all the items searched as a result.

Example: If you select FOR TIME and EMOM as TIMERS and  PUSH UP and  BACK SQUAT as EXERICISES, you can see as a result all WODs having FOR TIME and EMOM as TIMERS and PUSH UP and  BACK SQUAT as EXERICISES

The WOD has 4 options:

  • FAVOURITES: you can add the Wod to FAVOURITES;
  • ADD NOTE: you can add a note to the Wod;
  • LOG RESULT: you can log your result without starting the timer;
  • SHARE: you can share the Wod and the app with your friends (social networks, whatsapp, email, etc..)

By clicking on the Wod Name a window will open with:

  • CATEGORIES
  • DIFFICULTY LEVEL
  • TIMER TYPE AND EXERCISES
  • NOTES AND WOD INSTRUCTIONS

By clicking on the > button beside the Wod Name, you will open a Timer page, after that you have to click on the PLAY button to activate a Countdown and start the workout.

By clicking on > a window opens with:

  • In the upper left there is the Music button, where you can insert your tracks previously uploaded in the dedicated section;
  • In the upper right there is a button to show the Wod details and the Timer in the smaller format.
  • In the center after you click on the PLAY button a Countdown will start at the end of which you can see the time.  
  • Lower: there are the STOP, PLAY/PAUSE buttons and the button to end the Wod.

By clicking on the button to end the Wod,  a window opens with:

  • Date and hour
  • RX button: by clicking on this button, you will confirm that you have completed the wod using the original weights and performing all the repetitions set;
  • REPS/TIME: where provided for and according to the Wod, you can insert the reps completed, otherwise the app will save the time taken;
  • Ok: by clicking on OK you will save the Wod;
  • Cancel: by clicking on cancel you will delete the Wod result and you will go back to the main page;
  • Photo: by clicking on Photo you will able to take a photo to add to the Wod.

When you save a Wod, this will appear in the Results section, in the Home Page and in the Ranking section.

Only the Wod completed with RX button will be visible in the Ranking section.

During the wod performance you can stop the workout by clicking on the BACK button in the upper left or on the BACK button of your smartphone. 

Once you click on the button to get out of the Wod a pop-up will appear where you have to confirm you want to stop the workout.

If you don’t want to stop the workout, click on “NO” in that pop-up so you will continue your workout.

There is a Ranking for each Wod where you can see only the best results of users that have completed  the Wod and activated the RX button.

By clicking on this button, you will confirm that you have completed the wod using the original weights and performing all the repetitions set.

The Wod  with EMOM timer will be not saved in the Ranking.

Moreover, there will be separate ranking for Men and Women.

The Wod  with EMOM timer will be not saved in the Ranking.

Yes, it may be possible, but periodically we will make some checks and will remove all results that we consider distorted and not congruent for that specific Wod, for the purpose of offering the best service to athletes and users that respect the rules.

For now, you can’t view the profile of other users

For now, only you can see your profile and nobody else. 

Here you can create your own wod by clicking on the + button in the lower right.

Moreover you can view the list of all Wods created.

By clicking on the + you can:

  • Insert the Wod Name;
  • Select the Timer types and their details;
  • Insert a Task (for example: 3 ROUNDS FOR TIME);
  • Click on ADD to view the Exercise list
  • In the Exercise section you can use the search bar by writing the exercises name;
  • And select one or more exercises and their value (reps, distance weight, etc…).
  • Click on the appropriate button to save the exercises and back to the main screen of the Wod.
  • You can delete the exercises selected by swaping left and confirm
  • You can change the display order of the exercises by dragging each of them up or down.
  • To save the WOD you have to click on the appropriate button in the lower right

 

The Wod created has 6 options:

  • EDIT: to modify the Wod;
  • REMOVE: to delete the Wod;
  • FAVOURITES: you can add the Wod to FAVOURITES;
  • ADD NOTE: you can add a note to the Wod;
  • LOG RESULT: you can log your result without starting the timer;
  • SHARE: you can share the app with your friends (social networks, whatsapp, email, etc..)

When you save a wod that you created, it will appear in the Results section and in the Home Page, and not in the Ranking.

In the Favourites section you can see all Wods previously added to favourites from the WOD LIST and MY WOD.

By clicking on the button in the lower right, the app will assign you a Wod chosen at random.

This section is divided in:

  • WOD: you can see the list of Workouts completed and their details;
  • SKILLS: you can see the list of Skills completed and their details.

To default, there are 4 timers

  • FOR TIME
  • AM RAP
  • EMOM
  • TABATA

Moreover you can create a new timer based on the default timer.

Skills are the exercises that you can perform to test your fitness level.

In this section there is the Skills list that you can perform to test your Fitness Level.

It is divided in 4 sections:

  • CARDIO
  • GYMNASTICS
  • WEIGHTLIFTING
  • FAVOURITES

By clicking on CARDIO, GYMNASTICS and WEIGHTLIFTING you can see the skills list to perform;

In FAVOURITES you can see the list of skills previously added;

GOALS are the targets to achieve to get a specific Level and Points.

You can view them by clicking on the Skill name.

According to the Skill, the goals could be express in Time, Reps or Weight to lift.

According to the result obtained, you will reach a Level and correspondent score.

For each skill you can reach:

  • the BEGINNER level and get 10 points
  • the INTERMEDIATE level and get 25 points
  • the ADVANCED level and get 50 points
  • the ELITE level and get 75 points
  •  

Example:

  • If you perform for the first time the 200m RUN skill and reach the BEGINNER level and get 10 points, the app will add 10 points in the Home Page.
  • If you complete the same skill reaching the same level (BEGINNER) , the app will not add the points in the Home Page.
  • Instead, if you reach a higher level than the current one, the app will replace the old score with the new one.
  • Considering that, for the 200m RUN skill your current level is BEGINNER and the points are 10, if you reach the ADVANCED level and get 50 points, since this new level is higher than the current one,  the app will remove 10 points  and add 50 points on the Home Page.
  • Then, once you reach a level for a skill, the app will edit the points in the Home page only if you reach a higher level than the current one.

You can see the points in the Home page.

The points for each skill are not cumulative, that is if you complete the same skill more than once,  the points received  won’t be added to the existing ones in the Home Page.

By performing the skills you can receive the points and the app will show  your fitness level in the Home Page.

The fitness level is based on the following parameters:

  • From 0 to 999 points the level is BEGINNER
  • From 1000 to 1999 points the level is INTERMEDIATE
  • From 2000 to 2999 points the level is ADVANCED
  • Once you reach 3000 points you will be considered AN ELITE ATHLETE.

It is useless to cheat and insert false results;  in the end, the challenge is only with yourself.

Train hard and BECOME AN ELITE ATHLETE!

There are 5 options for each Skill:

  • FAVOURITES: you can add the Skill to FAVOURITES;
  • ADD NOTE: you can add a note to the Skill;
  • LOG RESULT: you can log your result without starting the timer;
  • RESET: you can reset the skill (read the Reset Featured paragraph)
  • SHARE: you can share that Skill and the app with your friends (social networks, whatsapp, email, etc..)

By clicking on the > button beside the Skill Name, you will open a Timer page, after that you have to click on the  PLAY button to activate a Countdown and start the exercise.

  • By clicking on > a window opens with:

    • In the upper left there is the Music button, where you can insert your tracks previously uploaded in the dedicated section;
    • In the upper right there is a button to stop the exercise and exit.
    • In the center after you click on the PLAY button a Countdown will start at the end of which you can see the time.   
    • Lower: there are the STOP, PLAY/PAUSE buttons and the button to end the exercise.

By clicking on the button to end the exercise,  a window will open with:

  • Date and hour
  • REPS/TIME/WEIGHT: where provided for and according to the Skill, you can insert the reps completed or the weights lifted, otherwise the app will save the time taken;
  • Ok: by clicking on OK you will save the Skill;
  • Cancel: by clicking on Cancel you will delete the Skill;
  • Photo: by clicking on Photo you will be able to take a photo to add to the Skill.

When you save a Skill, this will appear in the Results section and  in the Home Page.

If you want to reset a Skill level after a break or for any other reason, you can click on the RESET button for that specific skill or for more skills.

When you click on the Reset button of the Skill, the app will reset the current level for that skill and remove the current points in the Home Page.

Example:

  • In the Home Page you have 1500
  • For the skill BACK SQUAT you have previously reached the ADVANCED level and received 50 points; after a break, you decide to test this skill again;
  • Then you click on the RESET button and the app resets the ADVANCED level and removes 50 points from the current ones in the Home Page; the points will become 1450.

There is a Reset button in the settings of each skill.

In the main menu  you can click on the MUSIC button and by clicking on the + button in the lower right, you can upload music from your smartphone.

Here you can see and edit:

  • EDIT PROFILE: where you can edit your personal information.
  • LANGUAGE: you can set the language in ENGLISH or ITALIAN.
  • UNITS: you can set the unit of measurement on METRIC or IMPERIAL, so that you can view the wod and exercises details according to your favorite system.
  • EXPORT DATA: by clicking on this button you can download all the data from the app (personal data, wod and skills details, pictures, etc..)onto your device
  • DELETE MY ACCOUNT: by clicking on this button you can delete your account and all your data on the app definitely.
  • SEND FEEDBACK: you can send your feedback about issues that help us to make the app better.
  • PRIVACY POLICY and TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USE: by clicking on it you can read our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions of use.
  • DISCLAIMER: you can read a text where we declare that we assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in the contents of the services.
  • LOGOUT: you can exit to the app.

Yes, you can export your data by clicking on the EXPORT DATA button in the Settings section. Once you have clicked on this button you will download your data onto your device.

The data that will be exported are:

  • PERSONAL INFORMATION: Name, Last Name, Email, OS, Picture, Date of Birth, Weight, Gender.
  • All Wod and Skills details.

Yes, you can delete your account by clicking on the DELETE MY ACCOUNT button in the Settings section. Once you have clicked on this button, you will delete your account and all your data present on the app.
